The Druid’s Job

The druid’s1 job is to remind his charges of what they naturally know. But which they have forgotten or been induced to forget for their own short-term benefit and the long term benefits of others.

So, he states the obvious:

“The smart (quick) get to eat and mate,

And the dumb (slow) get eaten!”

“The best live better!”

“Saved is salvation!”2,3,4

In short, the druid focusses attention on (non-local) natural intelligence (i.e. NI) and natural action.

By so doing he helps the (or a random) individual protect her/himself from the downside effects5 of (local) over-culturing by artificial intelligence (i.e. AI).6

1.     For ‘druid’ (i.e. as mythological member of the pre-modern Celtic intelligentsia, somewhat like the ancient Indian Brahmins) substitute: natural life coach. Most modern life coaches train survival within a cultural, hence artificial intelligence, i.e., AI, context but some also provide physical and mental training routines.

2.     Whereby the formal content (i.e. as identity) of the ‘saved; (i.e. achieved) is incidental (in other words, ‘empty’ or ‘vain’), because conditional (so the Buddha). See: Ecclesiastes in the Jewish Bible and Nagarjuna. Because that is so, the current batch/generation of 8 billion unique and original humans will die and be replaced over the next 80 years by a further batch/generation of 10 billion unique and original humans (plus the approx. 100 billion unique and original humans who have died) can save themselves (i.e. achieve their own salvation) by means of self-completion (i.e. wholeness/oneness) on their own terms. Since individuals, meaning identified humans, are discrete (i.e., fundamental aggregates operating as singularities), as are their achievements/goals and moreover their achievement payoffs (such as happiness, joy and so on), the smart (i.e. ‘fittest’) individuals train a ubiquitous non-oriented self-saving (i.e. achievement) technique which he or she can then apply to any set of conditions (or data sets), thereby achieving salvation (i.e. release) from in-completion and at any time. Since the means of achieving completion (i.e. self-saving via salvation, hence becoming a ‘winner’) comes with the life support equipment at birth, the ‘saving’ (hence wholeness) procedure can be applied to any and every local incompleteness (i.e. ‘loser’) situation.

3.     Actual release (from extraneous constraints, hence incompleteness) and completion elsewhere wrongly named salvation, as the ancient Israelites knew, happens only in this life, usually to those who perform (the law) super naturally, indeed ‘at best’, that is to say, superlatively. Virtual (Imagined) supra-natural salvation (i.e. release), as offered by so many religious cults, like Christianity, is a AI (operating as Big Sister) scam, albeit useful for ‘losers’ and highly profitable for their promotors.

4.     “The perfect slave is free.”  Salvation = liberation (from incompleteness.) An individual is saved, hence free when complete (or whole.) ‘Whole’ he/she experiences ‘I AM’ perfectly. The many profitable supra natural salvation scams promise (but fail to deliver) ‘freedom from’ the incompleteness (of this life) and the suffering that it signals. The nature-oriented druid (like the very ancient Israelites and Yogis) points to the ‘freedom to’ of local here-and-now completeness/wholeness and which is self-rewarded/signalled with happiness, joy and so on.

5.     i.e. the loss of independence, for instance, when your G5 mobile or toaster, though turned off, relays your most private data to an American or Chinese profit motivated data mining corporation. The most troubling effect of ubiquitous AI is the eventual loss of personal freedom, as demonstrated during the ‘Dark Ages’ of Christian and Vedic AI. The druid contemplative, aligning himself with nature, lauds and promotes ‘personal freedom’ as the highest human good.

6.     It follows that the druid (like Nature/God itself) is fundamentally apolitical and amoral, and which makes him a threat to those accultured with and dependent on AI (as artificial nurture). Hence the druid names AI ‘FRANK’, short for Frankenstein, whereby the creators of ‘FRANK’ function as the Sorcerer’s Apprentices, immature and non-accountable.
